Canco de Mayo

For Canstruction 2025, we’re serving up a feast of creativity and compassion with our sculpture, “Canco de Mayo”—a meal for celebration. Our display features a giant taco bursting with toppings and a cool beverage that completes the festive spread. Every can is meticulously placed to create a colourful, lively scene that captures the energy and joy of Cinco de Mayo. This celebration goes beyond food—it’s a symbol of hope and community. Each can used in the sculpture will help nourish those facing food insecurity, transforming this artful meal into a source of support for those in need. Through “Canco de Mayo”, we invite everyone to come together, spark conversations about hunger, and inspire action. At its heart, this sculpture reminds us that joy and generosity are a powerful combination. Join us in celebrating creativity, connection, and the impact we can make—one can at a time! Together, we can build a future worth toasting to.
